This guide is intended to provide the basic steps to enable and configure FSLogix Profile Containers and/or Office 365 Containers utilizing Cloud Cache. This guide assumes knowledge of these FSLogix Solutions. For documentation on either, please see:
AFTER enabling Office 365 Container, Profile Container or both:
Browse to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\FSLogix\Profiles" AND/OR "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\FSLogix\ODFC”
Create a REG_SZ value named "CCDLocations" and enter the paths that the Cloud cache files will be stored in, separated by semicolons.
The format of the data placed in this registry value is as follows: type=smb,connectionString=\\MyServerOne\MyShareOne;type=smb,connectionString=\\MyServerTwo\MyShareTwo
Important Notes: Spaces may NOT be used before or after delimiters in the CCDLocations value.
Ensure that the user or machine has the correct permissions for the specified path. The user will need to be able to create files and folders.
After the user is logged on, verify that the FSLogix Profile and/or ODFC container is attached and functioning by examining the log file located at %ProgramData%\FSLogix\Logs\Profile or %ProgramData%\FSLogix\Logs\ODFC.
